Teachers at Piqua Catholic School believe field trips are a key component of educational instruction. Excursions bring classroom lessons to life and help teachers fulfill their learning objectives. There is nothing like seeing how pioneers survived the chill of winter, being inches from the face of a manatee, or meeting the leaders of our nation’s capitol. Field trips stimulate minds, motivate students and encourage participation.

Students and staff participate in outreach projects building upon the Catholic emphasis on service to family and community. Children and their families work toward the goal of proclaiming the Gospel message of Jesus
