Mrs. Grieshop received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Urbana University and has been teaching at Piqua Catholic School for more than twenty years. Believing that teaching is a lifelong learning process she spends time each summer taking classes from the University of Dayton, Wright State University, and Antioch College. Mrs. Grieshop recognizes the classroom as a community of unique learners who vary in abilities and learning styles. She believes her role as a teacher is to give the children the tools they need to blossom and build a strong foundation of basic skills and concepts. Mrs. Grieshop makes learning fun and engages students as active participants so that first grade is memorable and children are eager to learn more. She also feels blessed to share Jesus with her students on a daily basis as spiritual development is an awesome process in their development. Mrs. Grieshop enjoys reading, cooking, gardening and spending time with her husband and three children.
