Affectionately referred to as a breath of fresh air, Mrs. Denise is never without a smile and a word of encouragement for her students. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University and her Masters of Science from Ball State University. Shortly after retiring from a 30 year career in the public school system, Mrs. Denise joined the Piqua Catholic staff as the speech and hearing therapist. And, she absolutely loves her job and the students with whom she works. She believes good communication skills are essential to the well-being and academic success of every student. She has witnessed great improvements in all area’s of a student’s life when a speech and communication skills improve. Mrs. Denise calls her career a very fulfilling one. She is married with two sons. She is very active in her church and is a senior high you sponsor.
