Mrs. Nancy Peltier

Mrs. Peltier received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary/Special Education from Miami University and her master’s degree in early elementary education from the University of Dayton. Her teaching career started in the Piqua City School district and then continued at Piqua Catholic School where she has been teaching third grade since 1989. Nancy is married to Charles, better known as Chuck, and together they raised two beautiful daughters who graduated from Piqua Catholic and Lehman Catholic High School. Nicole is a speech therapist with the Gahanna-Jefferson School district; Michelle was a first grade teacher in the same district until her death in 2009. To honor her daughter’s memory and love for education, Mrs. Peltier and her husband established a scholarship to annually award students with perfect attendance. In her spare time, Mrs. Peltier enjoys reading nonfiction, bicycling, and visiting her daughter, son-in-law and grandson in Minneapolis. She also likes to collect outfits for her ceramic goose – perhaps the best dressed in Ohio!
