Ms. Canady is a graduate of Ohio Northern University and dedicated to education. She has taught at Piqua Catholic School for more than 25 years and can’t imagine being at any other school. A love of athletics has been a big part of her life as a student and teacher. She is passionate about health and fitness and is committed to instilling that same passion in her students. Miss Canady is a natural-born motivator who believes physical education is an integral part of a child’s development and well being. Her classes incorporate movement, fitness, sports, and recreation in an effort to promote a lifelong love of active participation, sense of self worth, and dignity. Miss Canady loves to jet ski, and do anything in the great outdoors. She attends many athletic events at all levels including junior high, high school, college and the professionals. She is a member of the following professional organizations: OHHPER&D, OHSAAA, NIAAA, AAHPERD, and the OHSFSCA.
