Mrs. Kiefer received her bachelor’s degree in elementary/special education from the University of Dayton. Prior to teaching at Piqua Catholic School, she taught special education and third grade for Troy City and Sidney City Schools. Mrs. Kiefer is taking graduate classes toward a Masters of Education with a focus on reading literacy. She has a strong desire to teach students how to think, write and speak clearly in order to prepare for what God has planned for each of them. Mrs. Kiefer values her ability to integrate Catholic faith into the curriculum and develop respectful, faithful, well-educated graduates. She challenges her students to set high expectations for themselves and work diligently to achieve those aspirations. Mrs. Kiefer enjoys spending time with her family, and reading.
