Mrs. Barr graduated from Wright State University with a BA in fine arts with a concentration in sculpture and a minor in photography. She earned her teaching license from the University of Dayton. Mrs. Barr is a multi-talented artist who believes all children are creative and capable of using their imagination to produce quality work. She is passionate about many art media and works diligently to capture a similar energy in her students. She encourages them to discover their artistic talents and celebrate their uniqueness through their projects. Mrs. Barr is an active member of Gateway Arts Council, Art in Action, and Ohio Arts. She also serves on the Shelby County Youth Soccer Board and Mayfest Soccer Tournament Committee. In her extra time Mrs. Barr enjoys teaching fitness, dabbling in glass and mixed media, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
