CAVALIERS IN ACTION PTO

Cavaliers in Action provides support to the students, faculty and staff of Piqua Catholic School to enhance the educational experience for all students. We utilize our time, talents and treasure to assist the school by sponsoring and promoting events which advance and strengthen our sense of community and faith.

At Piqua Catholic School, we are fortunate to have a very active and supportive Parent-Teacher Organization called "Cavaliers in Action" or CIA. This dedicated parent group is responsible for variety of events and activities that go on at the school. We make this happen with help of parent volunteers chairing and/or working on difference activities and events to ensure their success.

Cavaliers in Action Fundraising Programs

Kroger Community Rewards - Together we can do it! Earn $$ for our school every time you shop at Kroger through the Kroger Community Rewards Program. Our goal is 100% school family participation and it's SO easy to get signed up! All you have to do is register your Kroger Plus Card by going to Kroger Community Rewards. Use our NPO number (82567) or search for Piqua Catholic School. Don’t forget to ask you whole family to sign up and support Piqua Catholic School!

Box Tops for Education - It is easier then ever to turn Box Tops into cash for our school! Just download the free Box Tops app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and select Cavaliers In Action/Piqua Catholic School as your school to support when you setup your login. Then every time you shop, just scan the barcode at the bottom of your receipt with your phone and the Box Top rewards will be credited to Cavs In Action. When you shop online you can also upload receipts to the app as well. It's SO easy and makes a huge difference for our students. RaiseRight Gift Card Program - Our PTO takes part in the Scrip "RaiseRight" gift card program that enables our school supporters to purchase gift cards to over 750+ retailers nationwide and a percentage of each gift card comes back to Piqua Catholic. The beauty of Scrip is that you put your regular household shopping dollars to work. You earn money for our school without spending a single additional penny. Shop as you normally do, just use gift cards purchased through our program when you are ready to checkout. Cards can be purchased as convenient eCards (electronic cards right on your phone or computer) on the RaiseRight app or physical gift cards mailed to your home (perfect for Christmas!). Piqua Catholic Walkathon - Students raise funds during our annual Walkathon and enJOY a fun day while walking for a purpose. Proceeds benefit the Cavaliers In Action PTO in order to help fund enrichment programs, classroom & playground material, and technology. Additionally, part of the proceeds raised are donated to an organization or group that is doing service work in our community or around the world.

Walkathon Benefiting Groups & Organizations: 2018 - Twinning Parish in Dominica, 2019 - Guttmann Family Missionaries, 2021 - Elizabeth New Life Center (In Memory of Hannah O'Leary), 2022 - Morgan's Place Cemetery, 2023 - Water for South Sudan Project
