HOURS OF OPERATION: 7:00AM -5:30PM

PHILOSOPHY   - Piqua Catholic Preschool - The Center for Early Learning will educate the whole child through experiences that will help each child grow spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, and physically.  Our program is focused on academics and learning through play.  Our goal is to equip each child with everything he or she needs to successfully transition into kindergarten.  Our Preschool is a safe and nurturing environment where Godly character and Christian values are promoted.  We will instill a life-long love of learning and create a strong foundation in the heart and mind of each child.  

SAFETY - Safety is a top priority for our students.  All teachers, administrators, and volunteers are trained in the SafeParish Child Protection Program required by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and background checked as well as first aid and CPR trained.

STUDENT-TEACHER RATIOS - Preschool Classrooms: 12:1, Pre-kindergarten Classroom: 14:1

EXTENDED DAY - Extended Day is our before and after school care program available Monday through Friday 7AM-5:30PM  for students currently enrolled in any of our Preschool programs. Students are admitted on a first-come, first-served basis by student-teacher ratio. Lunch Bunch begins after class ends.  Students bring their own healthy lunch and eat in the extended care classroom. Following lunch, the students have Circle Time where they review the calendar, sing songs, and read books. Around 1-1:30pm rest time begins. All students who stay for Aftercare past 1pm are required to rest at this time. Books, coloring, or any quiet activity are given to children who do not nap. Rest time is over around 2-2:30pm. The remainder of the day consists of organized learning activities such as baking, crafts, and gross motor play outside or in our exercise room.
