NOTICE TO KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 3RD GRADE PARENTS👈 Monday, May 18th K-3rd grade students will be going on a field trip to Hero Day in Piqua from 12:30-2:30pm. 💙 Teachers should have sent home paper permission slips along with a liability waiver from Hero Day that will need to be signed and returned this week💛 Each student K-3rd grade is also asked to bring in $14.00 to cover the admission cost of Hero Day. So please have cash of the exact amount of $14.00 or a check made payable to Piqua Catholic School (no change will be given) and return to school with the permission slip and waiver no later than FRIDAY, MAY 15th👈 If any family needing assistance with the $14.00 cost, please call either school front office. Students will not need additional money as the concession stand will NOT be open for the field trip. ❤️ Thank you and we hope to have a fantastic trip to Hero Day!

Hello! My name is Amy Woehrmyer, I am excited about my new role at Piqua Catholic. I have truly enjoyed my experience serving as the interim assistant principal and the opportunity it has given me to grow as a leader while supporting students, staff, and families. I am excited to remain in the classroom teaching middle school math while also continuing in the assistant principal role alongside Theresa Davis. Balancing both positions will allow me to stay connected to students and instruction while continuing to develop my leadership skills. I am also looking forward to working toward earning my principal license as I continue growing professionally in educational leadership. I have been part of Piqua Catholic School for the past 13 years. I live here in Piqua with my husband, Rob, and our three boys, all of whom attend Piqua Catholic School. This school and community mean a great deal to our family, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve in this new role.

THIS WEEK AT PIQUA CATHOLIC SCHOOL: 💙TUESDAY- Our Downing St students will need to bring in one flower per student to lay at Mary's feet for our May Crowning Ceremony at St Boniface. 🌷 There will be a Cavaliers in Action meeting to vote in our 2026/27 President. The meeting will take place in our North St library from 5:30-6:30pm. 👈The Preschoolers will also have their Olympic Day in the morning on Tuesday as well. 🥇WEDNESDAY- The Bottles for Babies campaign ends and all bottles should be returned to either school office. Thank you for your support. ❤️ Students at the North St campus will have May Crowning at St Mary Church at 8:30am and will need to bring in one flower per student to lay at Mary's feet. 🌷THURSDAY- For $5.00 we are allowing all students to wear jeans on Thursday to support the Grunkemeyer family who had a house fire last week. 100% of the proceeds will go to the family. Thank you for your support. ❤️ 3/4th grade will go on a field trip to Willowbrook beginning at 8:45am. 💙We will also have our annual Hair-Cut-A-Thon and the 8th grade vs Staff Volleyball Game in the afternoon. Go teachers‼️The Preschool Graduation will be that evening beginning at 4:30pm at St Boniface church. Congratulations to our Preschoolers 💙💛FRIDAY- the Dayton Dragons/ Piqua Catholic Community Night tickets are due by Friday so purchase your tickets so you can join us for this fun community event ⚾️ This is also FIELD DAY for both campuses. K-3rd will have field day at the Downing St campus in the morning and 4-8th will have field day in the afternoon at Kiwanis Park. ❤️ COMING SOON- Kona Ice will be at the North St campus on Monday, May 18th for those wanting to purchase an end of the year special treat. Don't miss the Art Show where the students will showcase their Art work in the North St Library before and after the concert. 🎶 FRIDAY- Kindergarten-2nd graders will go on a field trip to Farm Day in Versailles.
