
This week at Piqua Catholic School: MONDAY-WEDNESDAY-Kindergarten through 4th grade will be going to the Hug the Earth Festival. 🌎WEDNESDAY- The Volunteer Breakfast will begin at the 8:30am mass followed with breakfast in the North St cafeteria. ❤️That evening will be the SPRING CONCERT beginning at 6:30pm for the 5th through 8th graders in the North St gym. See the attached flier for more information. 🎶THURSDAY- The Pre-K graduation will be at the Downing St campus at 4:30pm. Congratulations graduates! 🎓FRIDAY- We will have FIELD DAY beginning at 12:30 at the Downing St campus for our K-3rd graders and at Kiwanis Park for the 4th-8th graders. The Spring Flower delivery is upon us, and we could use a few extra hands to help with our pickup line at Piqua Catholic School on Saturday, May 10!
We will have three shifts throughout the day and are looking for volunteers to help:
8:00 AM – 9:30 AM: 7 adults needed to unload the truck and sort the flowers
11:00 AM – 12:30 PM: 2 volunteers needed (students are welcome) to help deliver the flowers to the customers cars
12:30 PM – 2:00 PM: 2 volunteers needed (students are welcome) to help deliver the flowers to the customers cars

WEDNESDAY- School Nurse Appreciation Day.❤️ At 8:30am we will have May Crowning for our 2nd-8th graders at St Mary Church. Students are asked to bring in a flower to lay at Mary's feet. 🌸Beginning at 1:15 we will have the annual Hair-cut-a-thon followed by the 8th Graders-vs-Staff volleyball game. 🏐THURSDAY beginning at 8:30am at St. Boniface we will have May Crowning with our Kindergarten and 1st graders who are also asked to bring in flowers. 🌺 That evening we will have our final Cavaliers in Action (PTO) meeting where we will be voting our officers for next year. All are welcome! 💙FRIDAY- There is NO SCHOOL for a teacher inservice day. There will also be our last DINE TO DONATE at Bits and Pieces from 11-8pm that day. LOOKING AHEAD- The Spring Concert and Art show will be held for our 5-8th graders on May 14th. Piqua Catholic will be honoring our Blessed Mother in May Crowning at our school Masses next week.
We ask all students to bring in one flower each to
place at Mary’s feet.
Grades 2-8: Wednesday, May 7
Grades K-1: Thursday, May 8


Nominations are now being accepted for the following positions of the PTO, Cavaliers In Action. Anyone interested is asked to email Ruthie Baker at ruthiebaker89@gmail.com. Voting for these positions will take place at the May PTO meeting on Thursday, May 8th at 5:30pm in the North St Library. 💙💛 Vice President (2 Year term) • Shall act as an aide to the president • Performs the duties of the president in his/her absence c. Secretary (2 year term) • Records the minutes of the meetings • Takes and keeps a roster of all members and voting members attending each Cavaliers In Action meeting • Disperse the minutes to all members and School Board of Advisors • Maintain current and past records for 7 years d. Treasurer (2 year term) • Has custody of all funds of the Cavaliers In Action • Keeps full and accurate accounts of receipts and expenditures • Issues checks and ensures they are signed by designated account signers • Makes disbursements as authorized by the President, Executive Board or organization in accordance with the budget adopted by the Cavaliers In Action • Presents a proposed budget to the Executive Board and membership for approval • Presents a financial statement at every meeting of the organization and other times when requested by the Executive Board • Shall prepare all statements for all taxing authorities as may be required. The annual 990 filing shall be reported upon completion to the membership at a regular business meeting. • At the end of his/her term, assist the incoming treasurer and president in reviewing of the books.
