Our Bottles for Babies campaign for the Elizabeth New Life Center will begin on Monday, October 16. Students are asked to fill the bottles with loose change and return them on or before November 17th. Each bottle filled helps expectant mothers and could potentially save the life of an unborn child. Any questions or if you did not receive a bottle, then please contact the school office. Thank you!

Out of concern for all God’s people and in response to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People, we have a curriculum for the safe environment education of children and young people supported and mandated by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.
Diocese/eparchies are to maintain “safe environment” programs which the diocesan/eparchial bishop deems to be in accord with Catholic moral principles. They are to be conducted cooperatively with parents, civil authorities, educators, and community organizations to provide education and training for minors, parents, ministers, educators, and others about ways to sustain and foster a safe environment for minors. Dioceses/eparchies are to make clear to clergy and members of the community the standards of conduct for clergy and other persons with regard to their conduct with minors. Article 12 - Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People
This curriculum is called Circle of Grace. It is meant to supplement and be integrated into the excellent programs and curricula for the formation of children and young people in our schools and religious education programs. Circle of Grace aims to equip our children and young people by arming them with essential knowledge and skills grounded in the richness of our faith. This curriculum helps children and young people to understand their own (and other’s) dignity in mind, body, and spirit.

Dear Parents,
For the month of November, we will be honoring our loved ones who have died by allowing the kids to post a picture of them (either a copy of a photograph or a drawing) and a brief note about them in the cafeteria.
Attached (photo 2) you will find the form that you can complete with your child, if you choose to do so!
If you are unable to print up this form, you can get a copy from the school office.

Toy Drive!
Starting Monday, November 6th, Student council will be collecting gently used toys during the month of November.
You can have the students bring them to their classrooms or drop them off in the office. The toys donated will be brought to the Bethany Center.
Please bring toys in from November 6th-November 21st.
Remember these toys are ones that your child/children no longer play with, and don’t mind giving to the Bethany Center.

Our Kindergarten through 8th grade students invite our Veterans and Heroes to Mass followed by breakfast in the North St Cafeteria on Nov.8th at 8:30am. Kindergarten and 1st Grade students who have a Veteran may be excused from attendance that morning if their Veteran would like to bring them to our celebration and then return them to school. Please contact the school office at 773-1564 by Nov. 6th to RSVP and mention the student you are eating with. Thank you Veterans!

Help! Cavaliers in Action will be doing a "Santa Shop" on December 4/5th for K-8th grade students in the North St library. We are in need of gift bags for the students to bring their presents home in, so if you have any extra gift bags of all sizes we would appreciate your donations. All bags can be brought to the school office or students may give them to their teachers. Donations will be accepted thru November 15th. Thank you for your generosity!
Doing some cleaning of the closets? The Planet Aid bin in our North St parking lot accepts donations of clothing, shoes, household items, toys, books, linens and decor.
Drop off your donations to the Planet Aid bin today, and in doing so you not only help reduce waste but also help the students recycle to help our environment. Thank you!

Preschool Picture Day has changed! Pictures for preschool will NOT be on October 24th and 26th as stated on the calendar. They are now scheduled for November 7th and 9th. November 7th will be 3 day and 5 day preschool and Pre-K November 9th will be 2 day preschool and any absences from Tuesday the 7th. Sorry for any inconvenience!
