You can have the students bring them to their classrooms or drop them off in the office. The toys donated will be brought to the Bethany Center. Please bring toys in from November 6th-November 21st. CYO Volleyball Is your daughter interested in volleyball and ready for friendly competition with other local parishes? CYO Volleyball is just what you need!! For Who: 4th, 5th, 6th grade girls Important: ALL PLAYERS MUST BE A MEMBER OF A CHURCH WITHIN OUR LADY OF FATIMA FAMILY OF PARISHES OR ATTEND ST. PATRICK OR PIQUA CATHOLIC SCHOOLS. When: The season will run January 8th through March 23rd Practices will be on Monday and Wednesdays starting January 8th through the entire season. Games will be played on Saturday mornings/ afternoons or Sunday afternoons. (There may be one weekday evening game.) Games will be at local parishes within the Dayton area. Games begin on February 3rd and the season tournament will end on March 23rd. Practice Times- 4th grade practices- Monday and Wednesdays - 6:00 - 7:15 5th grade practices- Monday and Wednesdays - 5:00 - 6:15 6th grade practices- Monday and Wednesdays - 7:00 - 8:15 **All practices will be held in the St. Patrick Parish Center Gym** Cost: The cost is $85 per girl. Cost will be due at the first practice on January 8th. Sign ups are due by Sunday, December 17th. Our Kindergarten through 8th grade students invite our Veterans and Heroes to Mass followed by breakfast in the North St Cafeteria on Nov.8th at 8:30am. Kindergarten and 1st Grade students who have a Veteran may be excused from attendance that morning if their Veteran would like to bring them to our celebration and then return them to school. Please contact the school office at 773-1564 by Nov. 6th to RSVP and mention the student you are eating with. Thank you Veterans!

Our Bottles for Babies campaign for the Elizabeth New Life Center will begin on Monday, October 16. Students are asked to fill the bottles with loose change and return them on or before November 17th. Each bottle filled helps expectant mothers and could potentially save the life of an unborn child. Dear Parents, Out of concern for all God’s people and in response to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People, we have a curriculum for the safe environment education of children and young people supported and mandated by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Diocese/eparchies are to maintain “safe environment” programs which the diocesan/eparchial bishop deems to be in accord with Catholic moral principles. They are to be conducted cooperatively with parents, civil authorities, educators, and community organizations to provide education and training for minors, parents, ministers, educators, and others about ways to sustain and foster a safe environment for minors. Dioceses/eparchies are to make clear to clergy and members of the community the standards of conduct for clergy and other persons with regard to their conduct with minors. Article 12 - Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People This curriculum is called Circle of Grace. It is meant to supplement and be integrated into the excellent programs and curricula for the formation of children and young people in our schools and religious education programs. Circle of Grace aims to equip our children and young people by arming them with essential knowledge and skills grounded in the richness of our faith. This curriculum helps children and young people to understand their own (and other’s) dignity in mind, body, and spirit. Lessons will be starting this month.
