Dear Families, I hope this message finds you well. I want to inform you about an important change regarding our Kindergarten enrollment. Starting with the 2025-2026 school year, the cut-off date for Kindergarten will change from September 30th to August 1st. Your child must be 5 years old by August 1, 2025, to enroll in our Kindergarten program for the 2025-2026 school year. This adjustment will help us better align with our educational goals and ensure that all children are prepared for their Kindergarten experience. Please contact me with any questions. Thank you for your understanding and support. Cyndi Cathcart Principal

As the third quarter is coming to a close, the Water for South Sudan Team is working hard toward meeting their goal of raising $1,000 for a donation to the Water for South Sudan organization. This group drills clean water wells in South Sudan, Africa. Students have taken time out of their own days to lead fundraisers and spirit days. 💙From hat and tie dye days to the aluminum can drive and concession stand style snack shack on Fridays in their social studies class, the 6th grade students have been nothing short of inspiring. ❤️Keep an eye out for updates and reminders over the next few weeks as they’re gearing up for the most successful fundraiser from years past. More news and information about that will be hopping onto the app and our school’s Facebook page in the next few weeks. If you’d like more information regarding the work the 6th grade Water for South Sudan Team is doing, please reach out to Mr. Lyons for more. As always, THANK YOU to all who have donated items and money to the team’s cause, and we look forward to the continued support. Without your help, these students wouldn’t have the opportunity to help change the world.💙💛 Keep up the incredible work 6th grade!

Hello, Piqua Catholic Second and Third Graders have a wonderful opportunity to attend a special performance by The Dayton Ballet at the Dayton Masonic Center on WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 26th. We will be leaving the North Street Campus at 10:30 and the show starts at 11:30 and lasts for an hour. This is, of course, during our normal school lunchtime. We are asking each student to PACK A LUNCH on Wednesday, along with a small snack. After Mass, students will return to the classroom and have a chance to eat the small snack before we leave for the performance. Upon returning to the school, students will then have time to eat their packed lunch. Blessings, Second and Third Grade Teachers
